Wiki
Speech/language services in the school.
Brief description of services.
Speech pathologists work with students who meet certain criteria according to Nebraska special education law.  The four main areas we focus on are articulation, language, fluency and voice impairments.

An articulation disorder is the incorrect production of speech sounds that may interfere with intelligibility.

A language disorder is impaired comprehension and/or use of spoken or written language.

A fluency disorder is an interruption in the flow of speech (stuttering).

A voice disorder is the abnormal production of vocal quality, pitch, loudness, resonance and/or duration.
